The Women of Lynch – Special Edition. “This is girl.” This is the one. Issue 7 is something we have been planning for 2 years. 40 essays written by 9 female writers about 40 female characters created by David Lynch. This has been a huge undertaking. Lucky for the Blue Rose we have Courtenay Stallings taking the lead as Managing Editor on this issue. This issue is 32 pages. 8 pages longer than normal because we just had too much content to fit in. This will go down in history as our longest issue ever.

We are proud to welcome Mya McBriar, Laura Stewart, Cheryl Lee Latter, Joyce Picker, Lindsay Hallam, Mel Reynolds, Lisa Rhoads, and actress Amy Shiels to our writing staff. Each of them have been assigned different characters to write about. The essays are not recaps but in depth analysis of what makes a Lynch female character different from other writers.
